On the 9th April 2025 two students from the Royal College of Art visited the Acoustics Laboratory of London South Bank University to undertake an experiment. They wanted to scream in the anechoic chamber!! We measured the sound level at 110 dBCpeak with an average of 99 dBA over 5 seconds at a distance of 1m. When turned to face the sound absorbing wall the level fell by 20 dBA. The girls seemed to enjoy the screaming!
