At the Acoustics Group we believe in working on cutting edge applied research. This is driven by new legislation, standards, techniques or equipment. We are in a 3* Architectural School in terms of research according to the REF2021 (Rated 19th out of 157 UK Universities in terms of Research Power). Times Higher Entrepreneurial University 2017. Times University Graduate Employment of the Year 2017 and 2018. QS Ranked 4* University.
On the 31st March 2025 a journal paper entitled, "An investigation in the effect of acoustic quality of the student learning experience at a London Higher Education Institution". The articles lead author was LSBU PhD student Rodrigo Sanchez Pizani and his team at King's College London. The paper can be found here and was published by SSRN.
