Acoustic testing for Tinnisoothe

On the 28th April 2026 London South Bank University acoustically tested the Tinnisoothe device. The Tinnisoothe team bought along new prototypes to be tested on our Binaural Observer (Bob). Professor Stephen Dance working with the PhD students took measurements to quantify the spectral response of the original and prototype devices. The anechoic chamber being the ideal environment to undertake those tests, as that space is where Tinnitus would be most apparent, being near silent room.

Royal Academy of Music 16th Year of Exit Hearing Tests

For the 16th year the collaboration between London South Bank University and the Royal Academy of Music continues. For the first time the 20 selected undergraduate students undertook both entry and exit hearing assessment using pure tone audiometry and otoacoustic emissions. This will further the knowledge base on the validity of the testing protocols. I think 50% will be staying to study at postgraduate level, so see you guys in September!
