At the Acoustics Group we believe in working on cutting edge applied research. This is driven by new legislation, standards, techniques or equipment. On the 4th May 2023 the first acoustic tests of a prototype Paedratic Audiometer were undertaken in the Acoustics Laboratory of London South Bank University by Dr Bradford Backus of Audio-3.com and Professor Stephen Dance. The project is funded by InnovateUK and will result in better diagnosis of the hearing of toddlers.
