Acoustic in Music Training at IOA London Branch

The October 2017 London branch meeting talk was delivered by Luis Gomez-Agustina yesterday evening (18 October2017). It presented results from the current research in to the potential introduction of basic acoustic education into the performance music curriculum. The audience was formed by acousticians, trained musicians and acousticians with formal music backgrounds. The talk was very well received and generated significant interest prompting some challenging questions. In an informal raise of hand consultation at the end of the talk, attendees agreed unanimously with the conclusive finding presented from the UK wide research.
