At the Acoustics Group we believe in working on cutting edge applied research. This is driven by new legislation, standards, techniques or equipment. On the 24th May 2011 Steve presented a paper at a Special Session in celebration of 25 years of the Newman medal in front of Mary Newman. Steve gave an international perspective on the work of the Newman Fund and how it has been used to promote the PhD programme at LSBU.
