At the Acoustics Group we believe in working on cutting edge applied research. This is driven by new legislation, standards, techniques or equipment. On the 6th April 2011 RBA Acoustics prize was awarded the MSc Environmental and Architectural Acoustics prize to Daniel Flood at the LSBU Faculty Award Celebration Day. Dan's dissertation was entitled, "Analysis and acoustic improvement to a live venue". Russell Richardson presented the prize and cheque to Daniel over a glass of wine, as is now the tradition.
