At the Acoustics Group we believe in working on cutting edge applied research. This is driven by new legislation, standards, techniques or equipment. We are in a 3* Architectural School in terms of research according to the REF2021 (Rated 19th out of 157 UK Universities in terms of Research Power). Times Higher Entrepreneurial University 2017. The Acoustics Group has purchased a site license for SU2CATT. As of 25th November 2010 students on the Masters course in Environmental and Architectural Acoustics can use Google Sketchup to build room acoustic models and import them into CATT-Acoustics automatically.
