Student wins award from the Acoustical Society of America
Gil van Buuren won the Newman best student dissertation for his Masters project on, "Parametric studies on the low-frequency acoustics of listening rooms using a numerical wave model". The Robert Bradford Newman Medal is for excellence in the study of acoustics and its application to architecture. The prize will be awarded by the Acoustical Society of America. Gil will present his work at Euronoise 2009 in Edinburgh. Well done Gil!
