On 27th April 2009, the Royal Academy of Music received 2 Amadeus transparent polycarbonate sound screens. The Acoustics Group were contacted to test the insertion loss performance of one screen under laboratory conditions. Dr Stephen Dance and the students on the MSc in Environmental and Architectural Acoustics tested the screen in the anechoic chamber - optimal conditions. Results were impressive at high frequency.
