At the Acoustics Group we believe in working on cutting edge applied research. This is driven by new legislation, standards, techniques or equipment. On the 11th February 2022 the Masters' students undertook acoustic performance testing of facemasks. Four talkers, measuring the effect on speech directivity and speech power level of three masks. This was followed by word score tests, two talkers, 3 masks, and 8 listeners. Many thanks to you all. The results will be presented at Inter-Noise 2022.
