Testing the Queen Elizabeth Hall's Helmholtz resonators
The specially designed Helmholtz resonators in the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the South Bank have been recreated in the workshops of London South Bank University. The absorption characteristics of four of these resonators have been measured in the acoustic laboratory using the latest NTI XL2 FFT meter. This has established the practical performance of the resonators, which will be compared to the theoretical model.
