On the 8th May 2025 at the Institute of Acoustics Awards events at the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh Alec Korchev was presented the IOA Early Career Award. Alec won for his research on Wind induced noise in Tall Buildings and his commitment to progressing engagement with the student body for the Association of Noise Consultants. Alec also sits on a UKAN special interest group for Room Acoustics and Communication. He currently works for Clarke Saunders Associations. Well done Alec!
