The Acoustics Community (Business, Academia, Local Government) have come together to response to the Government Lockdown caused by the CoVID19 outbreak. Through the Institute of Acoustics and with the financial support of the UK Acoustics Network Prof Stephen Dance and Ms Lindsay McIntyre, KSG Acoustics, have created the Quiet Project. A national survey to monitor the environmental noise across the UK. This initiative has the kind support of Campbell Associates and ANV Measurement Systems to assist with the instrumentation necessary to take the measurements.
