Balancing the acoustic of Henry Wood Hall
Henry Wood Hall asked the Acoustics Group of London South Bank University to balance the sound in the auditorium for smaller rehearsals. We came up with the idea of using 30 airbeds to attenuate low frequency sound and create a more balanced acoustics for smaller operatic rehearsals. The London Philharmonic Orchestra were happy with the results, which is a good sign!
