Abstract submitted to ISRA conference
An abstract for the International Symposium on Room Acoustics 2013 conference has been accepted. Peter Mapp will be presenting a paper entitled, "Bass Sound Quality Index - the development of a new objective measure". The symposium runs from 9-11th June 2013 in the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Sounds like fun!
New CATT-Acoustic Software
On 11th January 2013 the Acoustic Group computer modelling software package, CATT-Acoustics v8, was upgraded to CATT-Acoustics v9. The room acoustic simulations will be able to model schools, underground stations and auditoria more quickly thanks to parallel processing. It will be used with SU2CATT and Google Sketchup to build the models. The paxckage is supported by Adrian James Acoustics. Let's hope it's easy to use.
