Measurements on the Northern Line with Telent

Louis Gomez and Steve Dance were measuring the room acoustics and speech intelligibility of the installed Public Address system in the tube during early February. Very late nights were involved such that Steve spent the morning sleeping in his office, so he found a use for those sofas then!

Dosimetry at the Royal Academy of Music

The Acoustics Group has been monitoring the noise exposure of musicians at the Royal Academy of Music. Nine dosimeters were given out to measure the noise dose over 3 hours sessions for a range of instruments and musical types.
