On 14th May 2019 Professor Dance presented research on a new type of low frequency absorber at the Institute of Acoustics annual conference in Milton Keynes. The paper was entitled, "A new kind of low frequency absorber design suitable for use in recital halls". The audience filled the room for the Musical Acoustics session and there was good engagement of the reason the absorber worked!
