On the 27th November 2017 the EPSRC funded Acoustics Network was launched at the Royal Society, London. The Acoustics Group were out in forced contributing to three specialist interests group: Noise, Metamaterials and Communication. There are currently six further SIGs. Catchy names abounded with UKAN and
Acoustics.ac.uk as the website. More than 100 acousticians discussed how links with industry could be improved to meet the challenges of the next 20 years!
