British University of Egypt visit
On the 16th June 2014 London South Bank University hosted Professor Bahei-El-Din and Professor Maguid Hassan from the British University of Egypt. The Acoustics Group held discussions about potential research collaboration in the fields on urban spaces and Mosque design. We hope our visitors enjoyed their tour.

MSc students to present at IOA Branch meeting
On the 17th September 2014 two past Masters students: Ms Christina Higgins and Ms Eugenie St Cluque will be presenting their thesis to the Institute of Acoustics London Branch. This will be the fourth time the LSBU students have shown their research projects to a wider audience. Good luck!
Bridget's Retirement Party
On the 10th June 2014, after 28 years Professor Bridget Shield retired from London South Bank University. Many old friends, students, lecturers attended a roof top party at CEREB to show their appreciated of Bridget's contribution to the field of acoustics. We all wished her a long and happy retirement.
