On the 25th June 2014 London South Bank University will be hosted a one day Institute of Acoustics meeting. The meeting will present the latest research on measuring machinery noise emissions, so helpful for manufacturers, suppliers and buyers!
On the 28th April 2014 Mr Ignacio Alonso was awarded the RBA Acoustics Prize for his dissertation on ground borne vibration. The prize was judged by the Institute of Acoustics President, Professor Bridget Shield, as Ignacio actually works for RBA Acoustics!
On the 7th May 2014 Professor Bridget Shield was awarded a Fellowship from the Acoustical Society of America. The presentation was part of the 167h ASA Meeting in Providence, Rhode Island. Fellowships are given by invitation only and this was in recognition of Bridget's Presidency of the Institute of Acoustics.
