Student Measurement System Complete
On the 21st September 2011 the Acoustics Group have available a full room acoustic measurement system for student use. Students should install ARTA on their Win XP laptop, then using a Behringer ECM8000 measurement microphone connected to a Tascam 122 USB sound card they can undertake room acoustic measurements through a omni-directional source powered by a Class D hifi amplifier. Of course this all needs testing!
