Acoustics Group at Noise Risk Seminar
Steve Dance and PhD student Georgia Zepidou of Sound Research Labs will jointly present a paper on Risk assessment implementation at the Royal Academy of Music with Martin Mamony-Hayes of JEM Safety Ltd. The event is organised by the Institute of Acoustics and held at Barbican, London on 16th April 2008 and is entitled Playing Safe- Meeting the control of noise at work regulation 2005 in music and entertainment.
Acoustics Group involved in seminar at the Royal Society
The Acoustics Group are heavily involved in the Speech and Hearing in Learning Environments seminar to be held at the Royal Society 29th January 2008. Emma Greenland chair of the Speech and Hearing Group at the Institute of Acoustics is organising the event; herself, Anne Carey and Prof Bridget Shield will be presenting. Well organised!
